These are the foundational beliefs we hold, tried and true, as we engage our world.
The Bible is God’s true Word. It was written by human authors guided by the Holy Spirit. It is completely trustworthy and teaches us how to live and know God.
📖 See: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105
There is one true and living God. He exists as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—three persons, yet one God. He is holy, powerful, wise, and full of love.
📖 See: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 8:6
Jesus is the Son of God. He became fully human, lived without sin, died for our sins, rose again, and now reigns in heaven. One day He will return.
📖 See: John 1:1–14; Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Hebrews 4:15; Acts 1:9–11
The Holy Spirit is God. He helps people understand the gospel, convicts us of sin, gives new life, and helps believers grow in faith and live for Jesus.
📖 See: John 14:26; John 16:8–13; Romans 8:9–11; Galatians 5:22–23
People are made in God’s image and meant for a relationship with Him. But everyone has sinned and needs forgiveness. Sin separates us from God.
📖 See: Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Isaiah 59:2
Salvation is God’s gift. We are saved by His grace through faith in Jesus—not by our good works. When we trust in Christ, we are forgiven and made new.
📖 See: Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:16; Romans 10:9–10; 2 Corinthians 5:17
The church is the body of Christ made up of all believers. Local churches gather to worship, grow in faith, serve, and share the gospel with the world.
📖 See: Acts 2:42–47; Ephesians 4:11–16; Matthew 28:19–20
Baptism is a public sign of a person’s faith in Jesus. The Lord’s Supper is a way to remember His death and look forward to His return.
📖 See: Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26
Believers are called to live in obedience to God, love others, share the gospel, and reflect Christ in all areas of life.
📖 See: Romans 12:1–2; Matthew 5:14–16; Galatians 6:9–10
Jesus will return one day to judge the world. Believers will live forever with Him. Those who reject Him will be separated from God forever.
📖 See: John 14:1–3; Revelation 21:1–4; Matthew 25:31–46; 2 Peter 3:10–13
